Surinder Singh came to the U.S. in 1985 from Delhi, India, where he learned machining at his father’s shop, Gill Auto Industries. Founded in 1994 by Surinder Singh, Valley Precision Works began in a garage with a single lathe and drill press.  After years of working long shifts in Houston machine shops, he took a leap of faith to start his own business—driven by skill, determination, and a vision for the American Dream.

Today, the business continues to thrive under the leadership of the Singh family, with Surinder’s sons JD and PJ carrying forward the legacy.

Surinder Singh was born and raised in Delhi, India in a family of 7. He earned his Bachelor’s in Business at the University of Delhi in 1978. During his studies, he was working at his father’s machine shop part-time, further perfecting his machining and business skills. After getting married, Surinder moved to the U.S. in 1985 with hopes to building a better future for his growing family.

In 1994, Surinder, with the full support of his wife, purchased Valley Precision Works, Inc.  Following their father’s (and grandfather’s) footsteps, Jagdeep Singh (JD) and Prabhjot Singh (PJ) are passionately committed to the family business.
